Please send help because I'm choking on my own heart,
This whole world was supposed to let me make a new start.
Instead I see my own shadow pull me down and hold me,
There's no escape from this hell only I can see.

What will it take for my walls to finally collapse,
To see beyond my tinted window that's causing my relapse.
How can an innocent plan turn me down to pieces as I die,
We both knew from the start I was simply feeding myself lies.

So what more do you plan to take from this fragmented heart,
When it holds a description that holds little meaning in parts.
It's another breath I'll tell myself as I carry myself forward,
But do you really understand when I'm tired of not being heard?
